Don't ask me why I went looking for this but this was my search for the day:
As a bonus, I found out that the I. Magnin's in SF is now the Macy's (Union Square).
By all rights this box is rather clown-like (a personal 'ick' for me) but perhaps because it's vintage? Or do I have some long-lost memory of having this box to play with as a child – my mom did do a lot of shopping at Magnins....
